From 1976 until 1984, Don Alexander air brushed stripes on to an estimated
1000, 2' x 3' sheets of chromacoat paper, as of which there are about
250 remaining. His son, Jesse Alexander, of Crumley Alexander is collaborating
with his father to pull these paintings from the basement where they
have been resting for 25 years. |

BERGDORF GOODMAN of NYC requested
the installation of 120 paintings in their 3 windows facing 57th st,
to be on view from February 16th until March 9th.

On December 11, 2003 SALTWORKS Gallery in Atlanta presented 243 of the paintings to cover the walls of the roughly 2000 sq foot main gallery.
